ISSN / eISSN

Aims and Scope
The Journal publishes original papers that apply earth observation data to inventarisation and management of natural resources and the environment. In this context, earth observation data are normally those acquired from remote sensing platforms such as satellites and aircraft, complemented and supplemented by surface and subsurface measurements and mapping. Natural resources include forests, agricultural land, soils, water resources, mineral deposits, and land itself as a foundation for infrastructure and housing. Environmental issues include biodiversity, land degradation, industrial pollution and natural hazards such as earthquakes, floods and landslides.

During my master's program, I would like to share the timeline of my second thesis submission:
May 4, 2023: Submitted the paper
May 5, 2023: Rejection (Reason: The similarity rate exceeded 30%, and the journal did not provide a plagiarism report. After checking myself, I found that it was mainly due to excessive use of technical terms, author affiliations, funding names, formula symbols, and the names of data sources.)
May 6, 2023: Resubmitted after reducing the similarity rate to below 10%
May 7, 2023: Under review
May 15, 2023: Major revision (Received feedback from two reviewers, one suggesting minor revisions and the other suggesting major revisions. The feedback was professional and to the point. The editor asked for major revisions and provided a 20-day timeframe for modification.)
June 5, 2023: Submitted the major revisions
June 6, 2023: Under review
June 14, 2023: Minor revision (Received feedback from the same two reviewers, one recommending acceptance and the other asking for further clarification. The feedback was professional and to the point. The editor asked for minor revisions.)
June 16, 2023: Submitted the minor revisions
June 19, 2023: Under review
June 25, 2023: Accepted (Finally satisfied the reviewer with concerns and got acceptance)
June 26, 2023: Final proofreading
It was a good journal with quick editorial processing. The review process took only one to two weeks, and the whole submission to acceptance process took less than two months. The efficiency was very high! I wish everyone success in getting their papers accepted!

The editor-in-chief is very responsible and the review speed is very fast. Basically, it is processed as soon as it is submitted, and most of the reviews are done at night. The first submission was rejected due to excessive word count, and it was resubmitted after modification. In the first review, there were three reviewers, two major revisions, and one minor revision. The reviewers' opinions were professional and it took half a month to reply with over 6000 words of modifications. In the second review, there were three reviewers in the same group, two minor revisions, and one recommendation for acceptance. The acceptance letter was sent on the same day of submission after the minor revisions. The whole process took around one and a half months. Highly recommend submitting to this journal. The specific timeline is as follows:

- 2.26: First submission
- 2.27: Rejected
- 3.3: Resubmission, under review on the same day
- 3.12: Required review completed, after four days, it changed back to under review because another reviewer was invited, possibly due to the first reviewer's minor revisions and the second reviewer's major revisions.
- 3.22: Required review completed again, first review's major revisions were returned.
- 4.1: Revisions
- 4.14: Minor revisions
- 4.18: Revisions, accepted on the same day.
