Health, Mental Health & Aging: Aging: The Community Foundation intends to make one grant of $34,000, provided as $17,000/year for two years. Mental Health: The Community Foundation intends to make two grants of $30,000, provided as $15,000/year for two years. Lamond Fund to Benefit Children and Youth: The Community Foundation intends to make four grants of $20,000. Military Personnel and Their Families: The Community Foundation intends to make two grants of $17,500 each.

Eligibility
Organizations providing services in Northern Virginia (defined as the areas within Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties and the Cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas and Manassas Park) can apply for funding. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations providing charitable or educational services. Local, state and federal government entities are not eligible to apply.
Description
The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia conducts an annual grant cycle through the Community Investment Fund. Nonprofit organizations providing services in Northern Virginia are invited to apply. For the 2021 application cycle, the Community Foundation will accept requests in the following categories: Arts Child & Youth Development Education Environment Health, Mental Health & Aging Lamond Fund to Benefit Children and Youth in Alexandria and Fairfax County Military Personnel & Their Families Poverty Relief Eligibility Organizations providing services in Northern Virginia (defined as the areas within Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties and the Cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas and Manassas Park) can apply for funding.
