Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on family life, increasing parental stress due to health concerns, job losses, reduced salaries, and challenges of managing domestic life during lockdown. Mothers, who often bear more family responsibilities, experience higher stress levels and are more likely to be responsible for home-schooling. Lack of support and high stress levels may lead to mothers leaving their jobs.

Summary: This study analyzed the relationship between cognitive and psycho-emotional factors and sexual functioning of women with endometriosis. The results showed that women with endometriosis had worse scores in terms of pain, sexual distress, and negative emotions, while scoring lower in emotion identification and sexual cognition. These findings suggest that sexual health professionals should address patients' psychological, emotional, and cognitive factors.

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate differences in depressive symptomatology between women with and without endometriosis, investigate the association between pain severity and depressive symptoms, and test the moderating effect of catastrophizing. The results showed that women with endometriosis were more likely to experience depressive symptoms compared to healthy controls, and pain severity was significantly associated with depressive symptoms. Furthermore, catastrophizing moderated the relationship between pain severity and depressive symptomatology.

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate if variability in baseline flexibility can enable differences in coping strategies, changes in neuroplasticity, and behavioral outcomes in responses to chronic social defeat stress (CSDS). The results showed that animals with high behavioral flexibility exhibited changes in their coping strategies during the CSDS protocol, and they also displayed higher dendritic complexity in certain cortical areas. Moreover, high flexibility was associated with better emotional responses and motivation. However, exposure to CSDS reversed the beneficial effects of high flexibility in male mice.

Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a significant crisis of loss, resulting in devastating mental health consequences for those who have lost loved ones to the virus. This study examines how psychosocial coping resources - mastery, self-esteem, and social support - moderate the association between COVID-19 bereavement and psychological distress. The findings show that coping resources have both expected and unexpected effects on the relationship between bereavement and mental health.

Summary: The objective of this study was to assess the influence of the test-to-delivery interval on the performance of ultrasound and MRI in predicting birthweight. The results showed that MRI performed best in predicting birthweight greater than gestational age if delivery occurred within two weeks of the examination, with a slight decrease thereafter, while ultrasound performance decreased drastically over time.

Summary: This retrospective cohort study aimed to evaluate whether induction of labor is associated with a lower risk of cesarean section in patients with isolated polyhydramnios. The study found that planned induction was associated with a lower rate of cesarean delivery compared to expectant management, but the difference was not statistically significant. Additionally, no differences were observed in maternal or fetal secondary outcomes.
