Summary: Three ternary mixtures composed of ChCl, EG, and a second HBD such as A, B, and C were studied in terms of their composition's influence on BGE. DoE approach was used to determine the BGE variation, with UV-VIS analysis and Tauc plot methodology providing the necessary data. The study revealed a drop in BGE values for specific binary compositions in systems A and B.

Summary: The compound (E)-N-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-1-(4-pyridinyl)methanimine monohydrate was synthesized and characterized, showing non-classical C-H···X hydrogen bonds and pi-pi stacking interactions. The crystal structure revealed significant intermolecular interactions such as hydrogen bonds and pi-pi stacking, which are crucial for understanding the crystal structures.

Summary: By connecting through hydrogen bonding, we synthesized a new series of fluorinated supramolecular liquid crystalline polymers with good thermal stability. We constructed a series of supramolecular hierarchically ordered self-assembled structures by introducing fluorinated molecules into commercially available copolymer chains. This approach provides a new method for constructing small-sized structures via hydrogen-bonded supramolecular systems.

Summary: In this study, a non-fused electron acceptor was incorporated into double-cable conjugated polymers for single-component organic solar cells (SCOSCs) with near-infrared absorption. The non-fused electron acceptor consisted of a thienyl-phenyl-thienyl core with an end group of 2-(3-oxo-2,3-dihydroinden-1ylidene)malononitrile (IC), which served as the side unit for creating the double-cable polymers. The conjugated backbone selected was poly(benzodithiophene), and the optical and electronic properties were tuned by varying the number of chlorine (Cl) atoms. The resulting double-cable polymers showed an efficiency of over 8% and a broad photoresponse range from 300 to 800 nm in SCOSCs.

Summary: In this study, the synthesis and in situ formation of diblock copolymers of PPFPMA and PMPC were achieved using polymerization-induced self-assembly. The nanostructures formed were mostly spherical and their morphology depended on the solid concentration and the relative length of the two blocks. Post-polymerization modification was also explored to functionalize the nanostructures, making them potentially useful as biocompatible and non-fouling nanocarriers and nanosensors.

Summary: This study presents the first example of protein-like multicompartment nanoparticles formed via self-assembly of a specifically designed 21-arm star polymer, PEG(PAA-b-PS)(20). The morphology of the MCNs is determined by the volume ratio of PS to PAA, and unique string structures composed of one-dimensional alignment of single-star polymers were observed for the first time. A new mechanism for the assembly of star polymers was proposed based on investigations under different conditions, suggesting potential applications in drug delivery and catalysis.

Summary: This study investigated the phase transitions of blends comprising PS-b-PEO and PS-b-PAA. The hydrogen-bonding interaction between PEO and PAA played a key role in the microphase separation and transition behaviors. Increasing temperature weakened the hydrogen bonds and induced macrophase separation and order-to-disorder transitions. However, the repulsive interactions between PEO and PAA prevented the formation of an isotropic phase.

Summary: In this study, the preparation of nanostructures in miscible diblock copolymers through competitively intermolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions is demonstrated. The combination of P4VP-b-P4HBA and PDP leads to the formation of comb-shaped di-block copolymer complexes, resulting in morphology changes and strong temperature sensitivity in the microstructure of the copolymers.

Summary: The study investigated the impact of hydrophobic R groups on various properties of polymeric micelles loaded with ZnPc for photodynamic therapy. The presence of aromatic R groups led to larger micelles with loosely packed ZnPc aggregates, resulting in higher release and enhanced photodynamic effect compared to micelles with aliphatic R groups.

Summary: The temperature dependence of the Flory-Huggins interaction parameter chi for PBA-b-PMMA was quantified using SAXS analysis and RPA theory. The enthalpic contribution of chi was found to be 1.7-4.5 times smaller for PBA-b-PMMA compared to styrene-diene-based block copolymers. This suggests that these fully acrylic components are desirable for constituting terpolymers used in thermally stable and mechanically resilient elastomers.

Summary: We investigated the segregation behavior of a molten diblock copolymer, introducing styrene as a comonomer to modulate the interaction between homopolymer and random copolymer block. The temperature dependence of the effective interaction parameter was evaluated using small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), which showed good agreement with the mean-field binary interaction model. This study suggests that the introduction of a random copolymer block can effectively reduce the incompatibility of the block copolymer system.

Summary: The study demonstrates that coupling perovskites with MoS2 mechanochemically can overcome the kinetic limitation of the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and improve its activity. MoS2 at the formed heterointerfaces acts as both an electron and a proton acceptor, facilitating deprotonation of the perovskite and leading to faster OER kinetics.
