The transcriptional output of the TGFB2 gene depends on a balance between the positive and negative effects of Fra-1 at these enhancers.

Summary: This study aimed to explore whether neuropsychological features mediate the relationship between psychopathologies and heart rate variability (HRV), and to investigate possible sex differences. The results showed that among women, the reaction time indicator mediated the relationship between depression and low-frequency power (LF), while the emotion recognition task indicator mediated the relationship between health anxiety and high-frequency power (HF). Among men, the intra-extra dimensional set shift indicator mediated the relationship between depression and LF, while the match to sample visual search indicator mediated the relationship between health cognition and HF. The study revealed sex differences and confirmed the mediating role of neuropsychological features in the relationship between psychopathologies and HRV.
