Summary: The study compared the two widely used diffuseness metrics with a recently introduced metric, finding that the degree of time series fluctuation is the most suitable for evaluating diffuseness in a sound field. The results showed that there is the best correlation between the degree of time series fluctuation and varying diffuser configurations.

Summary: This paper proposes an optimized method to reconstruct the radiated emissions of an equipment under test by measuring the electric field samples collected on the walls of a reverberation chamber. The use of the equivalence principle reduces the number of equivalent sources needed, and the analytical implementation is based on the multiple monopole source stirring technique. The method is experimentally validated in a real scenario.

Summary: Ambient noise correlations have been used to recover Green's functions between two probes, and has recently been applied to electromagnetism by correlating diffuse fields. A new approach is proposed to estimate the self- and mutual impedances of two coupled antennas from impedance correlations. The theoretical developments are experimentally validated in a reverberation chamber.

Summary: This study uses the correlation function method to investigate the interaction between coupled channels. By analyzing synthetic data, we successfully determine the interaction of the (DK+)-K-0, (D+K0), and D-s(+)eta channels as well as the existence of a bound state. The study also evaluates the scattering characteristics of the three channels and the coupling of the bound state to its components.

Summary: This article proposes a systematic methodology to characterize the vibrating intrinsic reverberation chamber (VIRC) for EMC and OTA testing of wireless baseband algorithms. The methodology considers different carrier frequencies, rotational speeds of VIRC motors, and loading conditions to measure and estimate the channel temporal and spectral characteristics. The results can be used to improve EMC testing and enhance the understanding of the unique VIRC environment.

Summary: This article presents a new method for measuring the shielding effectiveness without the use of an internal sensor. The method utilizes a reverberation chamber and accurately estimates the Q-factor as a function of frequency under different load conditions using an electromagnetic absorbing material. The SE of the shielded enclosure under test can be characterized noninvasively by contrasting the Q-factor estimates based on an energy conservation approach.

Summary: A vibrating intrinsic reverberation chamber (VIRC) is designed and fabricated, using a highly electrically conductive silver fabric as the material. The cavity surface is tuned step by step using a stepper motor, creating a vibrating wall in the RC. The corresponding relationship between vibrating amplitude and frequency is calculated. A test system is developed and the VIRC's performance is experimentally verified. Measurement results show that the measured E-field samples follow a Rician distribution, and the standard deviation of the space E-field is less than 3 dB, meeting the requirements of statistical uniformity tolerance in IEC 61000-4-21.

Summary: By rotating the antenna in a reverberation chamber, the angular correlation of the antenna can be obtained, and the radiation pattern of the antenna under test can be reconstructed using spherical wave decomposition. However, measuring the complex-valued S-parameters in a reverberation chamber is not applicable to active antenna tests where phase information is unavailable. To solve this problem, we propose an antenna radiation pattern reconstruction method based on phaseless measurement in a reverberation chamber. This method calculates the power correlation coefficient of the antenna under test using the signal amplitude received at different angles and uses the nonlinear least squares method to reverse the spherical wave coefficients and reconstruct the antenna radiation pattern. Simulations and measurements conducted in the reverberation chamber and anechoic chamber demonstrate the feasibility and applicability of the proposed method.

Summary: In this paper, a polarization converter stirrer is proposed to replace the traditional metallic stirrer in a reverberation chamber. The scatterings property of the polarization converter stirrer improves the working volume and scattering performance of the chamber while maintaining field uniformity and meeting testing standards. Testing results show that the polarization converter stirrer outperforms the traditional metallic stirrer in terms of certain performance metrics, indicating its significant impact on reverberation chamber testing technology.

Summary: This study evaluates the performance and functionalities of a commercial fifth-generation base station at mmWave frequency range using a reverberation chamber. The study investigates the base station's capability to operate in different propagation environment conditions simulated by the chamber. Throughput, modulation code scheme, and beamforming are analyzed for different real-life scenarios in both the uplink and downlink. The experimental results assist network operators in evaluating the base station's operation in various laboratory scenarios and assessing whether the expected benefits justify the additional costs in an actual operating network.
