Summary: A comprehensive strategy for cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis based on a machine learning aided cross-reactive sensing array is proposed for the accurate and convenient diagnosis of post-neurosurgical meningitis (PNM). The sensing array involves three Eu3+-doped metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and machine learning algorithms, which can generate specific fluorescence responding patterns in CSF and classify the samples into different groups.

Summary: In this study, DNA aptamers for L-lactate were obtained through library-immobilization selection method with high affinity and selectivity. A fluorescent biosensor based on the strand displacement method was constructed, allowing simultaneous detection of lactate and glucose in the same solution. This research expands the application of aptamers to simple metabolites and provides a useful tool for continuous and multiplexed monitoring.

Summary: In this study, a method was developed to accurately estimate the size of colorectal polyps using CAD system, which automatically calculates the range of colorectal polyps and determines their true size based on the magnification of the corresponding distance. This approach has potential for application in other areas of clinical diagnosis, as it was successfully developed and tested in a simulated experiment.

Summary: A wearable biosensor based on lactate-sensing membrane was proposed in this study. The sensor showed high stability and improved electron transport, achieving high sensitivity and low sensitivity in lactate detection. The real-time monitoring results on volunteers' skin were comparable to those achieved by a commercial sensor.

Summary: Lactic acid is a common metabolite in all living organisms, existing in L- and D-forms, which have various applications in biotechnology, food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and the production of poly-L-lactate. Both L- and D-lactate are important biomarkers for diseases, indicators of food quality, and markers for assessing athlete training level. Enzymes such as FC b(2) and DLDH have shown high selectivity towards L- and D-stereoisomers of lactate, making them suitable for use in electrochemical biosensors.

Summary: Lactate, an important product of carbohydrate metabolism in the human body, plays a significant role in disease diagnosis and treatment. The development of non-invasive wearable sensors for lactate detection is crucial for critically ill patients and individuals who need to monitor lactate levels. Biosensing, with its high sensitivity, selectivity, and ability to detect target molecules in complex matrices, offers a promising approach for lactate detection. This review discusses various types of wearable lactate biosensors, their properties, and the challenges and recommendations for future development.

Summary: Dwarfism refers to the condition where children of the same gender and age are lower than two standard deviations of normal height in the same environment. A computer-aided diagnosis model based on brain image data and clinical features is established for the first time, along with a dwarfism prediction algorithm using multimodal pyradiomics.
