May I ask what does "Under Revision" mean? Does it refer to the status of the manuscript being reviewed or does it mean that the author needs to provide additional materials? After submitting my manuscript, the editor asked me to provide additional information, but I haven't received any emails since then. However, when I logged into the system, it says there is a status awaiting my response. I don't understand what I am supposed to respond to.

Due to the lack of word limit in this journal and its preference for similar research directions, I submitted my manuscript in the past, which required me to compare it with the literature in this journal's field (basically asking me to cite their publications more). After a month and a half, I received major revisions, and after revising and resubmitting within a week or so, it was accepted for publication. Overall, the process was relatively fast.

My manuscript involves the research of using machine vision for the identification and classification of fruits and vegetables. I think the main issue was that the references did not include the journal's references, so I added the journal's references and made comparisons to clarify the innovative aspects of this study.
