After submitting, I received the first round of revisions 1.5 months later. There were four reviewers, one of whom suggested minor changes to the images, while the other three provided more professional and sharp comments. The editor was highly competent and responsible. Based on the reviewers' feedback, the editor summarized the revisions for me, advising against adding any more experiments. I made modifications according to their suggestions throughout the entire paper and sincerely thanked the editor and reviewers. After 10 days, I resubmitted the revised document.

After 20 days, I received the second round of revisions. Two reviewers agreed to publish the paper, but the other two insisted on the need for additional experiments. As it was close to the holidays, I urgently arranged for animal experiments. It took me an additional month to revise the manuscript.

Half a month after the minor revisions, I was notified of acceptance. It took another month to review the publication format and pay the publication fee. One month later, the paper was finally published.

The submission to publication process took 5 months. Personally, I think the editor of this journal is very nice and professional. However, there were relatively many reviewers, and their opinions were somewhat mystical. Hahaha.

Overall, the process was quite fast. This is my first SCI paper, and I was previously rejected by two journals, which greatly affected my confidence. There were three reviewers, and I had to make major revisions three times. I thought it would be rejected the last time, so I anxiously waited, but finally it was accepted, coinciding with my graduation. The submission system of this journal is slightly complicated, and the formatting requirements for the paper are very strict. Personally, I feel that the editor is nice, professional, and rigorous. With the help of the reviewers' comments, the quality of the paper has greatly improved. Thank you! I wish everyone success in their submissions!
