The review process was fast. It is important to note that after submitting the manuscript, the journal sends a confirmation email to each author, which needs to be confirmed by clicking the link in the email. Review process will not start unless all authors confirm. Additionally, during the revision process, uploading the revised manuscript and responding to the revision comments can be a bit chaotic. There is no specific option for responding to revision comments, so I chose to upload it as supplementary data at the beginning, followed by the highlighted revised manuscript, and then the revised manuscript without highlighting. Both the latter two options were selected as "manuscript" but with different file names to indicate the difference. This should result in a comprehensive final PDF.

Submitted on November 18th, I needed confirmation emails from co-authors in the middle. I did not confirm, which may have caused the slow review process (typically, this journal gives reviewers 21 days for review). Then on January 29th, I received major revisions. February 12th was the deadline for replying with review comments. After the New Year, until the end of February, it still had not entered the "under review" status. I emailed the editor through the system and discovered that the co-authors had not confirmed the email, so it remained in the submitted status. On March 1st, I received the message of acceptance after minor revisions, and on March 6th, it was accepted. Overall, the editor's comments were very detailed, and the review was thorough. As a PhD student, I am also a peer reviewer for this journal, so I feel that in the field of water treatment, this journal is still acceptable.
