The Journal of Sandwich Structures and Materials is an international peer reviewed journal that provides a means of communication to fellow engineers and scientists by providing an archival record of developments in the science, technology, and professional practices of sandwich construction throughout the world. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

After changing the editor-in-chief, the speed and quality of manuscript review have indeed improved significantly. The feedback on the quality of review is very good. It took six weeks to receive the first review, which required major revisions. The reviewers were very professional and provided many helpful suggestions to improve the paper. After making the revisions, the paper was accepted one week later. The whole process, from submission to acceptance, took about 8 weeks in total. I wish the journal continued success and improvement!
