目标和范围

The Journal of Neurology is an international peer-reviewed journal which provides a source for publishing original communications and reviews on clinical neurology covering the whole field.

In addition, Letters to the Editors serve as a forum for clinical cases and the exchange of ideas which highlight important new findings. A section on Neurological progress serves to summarise the major findings in certain fields of neurology. Commentaries on new developments in clinical neuroscience, which may be commissioned or submitted, are published as editorials.

Every neurologist interested in the current diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders needs access to the information contained in this valuable journal.

The rejection rate of this magazine is generally around 90%, with many being directly rejected by the editorial department. After submission, the acceptance rate increases as long as major revisions are made, because the review is done by the editors, who are among the reviewers. The magazine's impact factor has been increasing year by year, reaching 6.68 in 2022. It is a promising journal! Traditional subscriptions do not require any publication fees.

After about 2 weeks of submission, it became "under review". Then it was just waiting. When it was almost 3 months, I was told that minor revisions were needed. The revision time was 1 week, and it was all due to minor issues from the reviewers. After sending back the revised version, it was accepted on the 3rd day.
