目标和范围

The quality of the environment within buildings is a topic of major importance for public health.

Indoor Air provides a location for reporting original research results in the broad area defined by the indoor environment of non-industrial buildings. An international journal with multidisciplinary content, Indoor Air publishes papers reflecting the broad categories of interest in this field: health effects; thermal comfort; monitoring and modelling; source characterization; ventilation and other environmental control techniques.

The research results present the basic information to allow designers, building owners, and operators to provide a healthy and comfortable environment for building occupants, as well as giving medical practitioners information on how to deal with illnesses related to the indoor environment.

Overall, the submission process is quite lengthy. It took over two months to receive feedback from the reviewers, but the feedback was very constructive. It took about a month to make significant revisions, carefully following the reviewers' suggestions. After that, we waited another month and were informed that minor language polishing was needed. Finally, within a week after making the necessary revisions, the submission was accepted!

Submission date: June 17, 2021.
Reviewer's feedback received on August 23, major revisions made.
Revised version submitted on September 22.
Minor revisions made on October 13.
Revised version submitted again on October 19.
Accepted on October 27.

The draft was submitted at the end of January, underwent major revisions in mid-March, and minor revisions in mid-May. Since late May, it has been in a pending approval state. When asked, the editor said it was undergoing technical checks. Later, I checked the official website and found that this magazine has not published any articles since December 2022. It is estimated that it has been affected by the scandal of retraction and review after being transferred to hinwida. It is unknown when it will be resolved.
