IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ELECTRON DEVICES

This is a highly regarded old publication in the industry. The first time I submitted, I received reviewer comments in about 14 days. The reviewer's comments were all positive, and the editor gave an "accept with minor revision" decision. After 6 days of revision, it was resubmitted, and the next day it was accepted.

The second time, I first submitted to EDL (Electronic Design Letters), and after about a month, the result came back. One reviewer unreasonably rejected it, but the opinions of the other reviewers were all positive. The editor asked for revisions, and it took a month to carefully revise and resubmit. However, the same reviewer unreasonably rejected it again, stating that the innovation was good but the EDL space was limited and suggested submitting to TED (Transactions on Electron Devices). This was truly unexpected. The other reviewers all recommended acceptance, but the editor rejected it and suggested transferring to TED. After transferring to TED, the opinions came back after a month. One reviewer suggested direct acceptance, while the others suggested minor revisions. The editor gave an "accept with mandatory revision" decision. After completing the revisions and resubmitting, the editor sent it for review on the third day and received it back in two days. After two days, it was accepted as it is.

Overall, the process was fast, and although the impact factor (IF) is not high, it is fortunate that the industry recognizes it.

I am here to update my situation and provide a reference for everyone. After being under review for 3 months, my submission was rejected. One reviewer gave positive feedback, stating that they found the work meaningful but suggested adding more details. However, the other reviewer believed that the article lacked significance and novelty. As a result, the editor decided to reject it. It is possible that my skills are not sufficient yet.
