Nature Sustainability will bring together all of the research fields contributing to a deep understanding of the ways in which we organize our lives in a finite world and the multiple impacts our actions have. Beyond fundamental research, the journal will publish significant investigations into the policies and solutions that will ensure human well-being now and in the future. Its aim is to facilitate important cross-disciplinary dialogues to respond to the greatest challenges of our time.

When the journal was first launched, it was relatively easy to submit articles, and many articles with unclear innovative points were also published in the journal. However, in the past half year, its reputation has risen rapidly, and it has become more competitive. This time, when I submitted my article, it remained "under consideration" in the system for a month. In the end, it was rejected without being sent for review. The whole process took 32 days.

The submission deadline is the 7th day after submission. The feedback for the first review takes 45 days. After making the necessary revisions, it is resubmitted and the second review takes 30 days. The third review results in direct acceptance. Overall, it feels very fast, with high editing efficiency. The journal actively contacts the authors of the submissions. Currently, this journal is highly regarded and its influence will continue to increase.
