Metaverse is emerging due to the late push by multinational technology conglomerates and a recent surge of interest in Web 3.0, Blockchain, NFT, and Cryptocurrencies.
A three-dimensional online environment in which users represented by avatars interact with one other in virtual places disconnected from the real physical world is described in the first of two new definitions for the Metaverse that both condense its core characteristics.
