Summary: The study aims to identify factors influencing COVID-19 vaccine acceptance or vaccine hesitancy and propose a framework to improve vaccine uptake among the Ghanaian-Dutch, Afro Surinamese-Dutch, and Hindustani-Dutch communities in Amsterdam. The findings demonstrate that vaccine efficacy and safety play crucial roles in vaccine choice and willingness to receive the vaccine. Other important factors include government-mandated vaccine passports, travel requirements, safety concerns regarding side effects, and recommendations from family and friends.

Summary: This study aims to identify the influencing factors affecting the residence intention of the ethnic minority floating population, explore ways to promote their citizenization, improve the quality of new urbanization, and achieve communication and integration among different ethnic groups in the city. The results showed that males have a higher intention to stay than females, a stable marriage relationship is beneficial, and the Hukou system still significantly affects the residential intention. Signing a labor contract has a positive impact, especially for the minority floating population within the province. Social interaction and psychological adaptation further strengthen the intention to stay. Therefore, efforts should focus on deepening the household registration system, improving social security, and promoting social interaction and psychological adaptation to foster a strong sense of community among the Chinese people.

Summary: Studies in the UK have shown that ethnic minorities living in communities with a higher proportion of co-ethnics have better mental health. While co-ethnic density has a protective effect on mental well-being, residential segregation also plays a role, with a non-linear effect on mental health outcomes. The findings suggest that the impact of these factors is most pronounced at mesolocal geographic scales.

Summary: Minority ethnic groups in the UK face higher vaccine hesitancy and lower uptake rates compared to White British groups, with barriers such as mistrust in formal services, lack of safety information about vaccines, and misinformation. Facilitators include inclusive communication addressing vaccine concerns through trusted sources and increased visibility of minority ethnic groups in the media. Community engagement utilizing trusted and collaborative networks is essential to address concerns and informational needs, likely leading to increased vaccine equity and uptake.
