Summary: Compared with CFS and IFS, CIFS can handle two-dimensional and uncertain information simultaneously, and its importance in capturing useful information is considered. The CIFOWD measure provides a parameterized family of aggregation distance measures, including special types like CIFOWGD, CIFOWHD, and CIFOWED. A multiple criteria group decision-making approach is presented under CIFSs environment, and its effectiveness is demonstrated through an illustrative example of coronavirus vaccine selection.

Summary: In this paper, a distance measure for linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy sets (LIFSs) is proposed, where the membership grade and non-membership grade are represented by linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (LIFNs). The validity and desirable properties of the proposed distance measure are proven, and a weighted distance measure for LIFSs is also introduced. Furthermore, a new group decision making approach in the environments of LIFNs is proposed using the weighted distance measure and the TOPSIS method. The proposed approach overcomes the drawbacks of existing approaches and provides a useful method for GDM problems in LIFNs environments.

Summary: This paper proposes a group decision information fusion model based on the combinatorial ordered weighted average operator, which considers the incompleteness, uncertainty, and plurality of decision information and effectively improves the accuracy of group consensus. An interval intuitionistic fuzzy combinatorically weighted average operator is established, which embodies the weight of the set data itself and the weight of data position. A position weight solving model for this operator is also devised using cross-entropy and Orness measures. The proposed operator is shown to better utilize decision data and achieve improved group consensus through specific case analysis.

Summary: Pythagorean fuzzy sets (PFSs) have proven to be effective in handling uncertainty and vagueness in multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM). This study introduces a new approach called the differential measure (DFM) for comparing PFSs, aiming to eliminate unfair arguments resulting from the equal treatment of contradicting parameters. The study also proposes a novel method for MCGDM based on the introduced DFM, along with a technique for computing expert weights. The applicability and validity of the method are demonstrated through two applications and comparison with existing methods.

Summary: In this paper, a novel fuzzy large group decision making method is proposed, which utilizes three-way clustering and an adaptive exit-delegation mechanism. The method separates the edge points and outliers from the clustering results using the three-way relationships, and determines the individual weight and trust weight using a consensus measure-based model. Comparative analyses verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.

Summary: This paper focuses on measuring the dissimilarity between evidential preferences based on the theory of belief functions, addressing two main issues and proposing a novel distance named Unequal Singleton Pair (USP) distance to improve the quality of decision results. The existing dissimilarity functions are found to be unsuitable for evidential preferences, leading to the proposal of a new distance measure for better discrimination and decision-making applications.

Summary: Decision-making in uncertain conditions is challenging, and intuitionistic fuzzy sets play a crucial role in managing uncertainty. Distance measures of IFSs are used in various decision-making problems, and a new symmetric distance formula has been proposed for effectively determining the distance between information held by IFSs. The proposed measure follows axiomatic definitions of a distance measure and can be applied in diverse decision-making problems.

Summary: D-S evidence theory is a general framework for reasoning with uncertainty, which combines evidence from different information sources to derive a degree of belief function. However, the disordered mass assignments from unknown sources raise the question of how to measure the difference between them. This paper proposes a novel distance-based measure called Information Volume Distance (IVD) inspired by the information volume, which not only meets the properties of distance but also proves its superiority through simulation experiments. Based on IVD, a new multi-source information algorithm is proposed for information fusion, and its effectiveness is verified by comparing it with other methods in decision-making.

Summary: The quality of training data, especially the consistency of labels, significantly impacts the performance of Machine Learning models. This study proposes a consistency measure based on Group Decision Making's consensus value to evaluate the training data for Learning to Rank (LTR) algorithms. The research reveals a strong statistical relationship between the proposed measure and the performance of a deep neural network implementing an LTR method.

Summary: This study explores trust network-based group decision-making and proposes an ordinal consensus measure to estimate the level of consensus. It focuses on supplementing incomplete trust networks and determining the importance weights of decision makers based on betweenness centrality and trust in-degree. In the consensus reaching process, an improved ordinal consensus measure is proposed, along with identification rules and feedback mechanisms for low consensus levels. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model.
