Summary: This paper studies the expression and processing of multi-channel uncertain digital information with discrete real number quantity attribute. The main works include proposing the concept of ellipsoid type fuzzy number, constructing such kind of fuzzy number to represent multi-channel uncertain or imprecise discrete digital information, introducing the concept of weighted centroid value and establishing a fuzzy binary relation on space of such discrete fuzzy numbers, and developing a method for classifying multi-channel uncertain or imprecise discrete digital information set based on obtained results.

Summary: In this paper, new results on the Bohr phenomenon for analytic functions subordinate to starlike and convex functions are obtained. By utilizing Ma-Minda conditions and a new idea, the Bohr radius is determined, showing that it is greater than or equal to 1/3. Moreover, the Bohr phenomenon for starlike functions with respect to a boundary point is discussed.

Summary: This paper studies the online economic dispatch problem for microgrids by casting it into the smoothed online convex optimization framework, and examines how data quantity and data quality affect the dispatch efficiency. The empirical power law relationship between data quantity and forecast error is identified through numerical studies, providing key insights into the role of data in online energy dispatch.

Summary: The study found that the reoperation rate of untreated asymptomatic lumbar disc herniation (asLDH) after open fusion or percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy (PELD) is closely related to the severity of herniation. A high possibility of reoperation should be clearly discussed with the patient when facing an asLDH graded as G2, regardless of open fusion or PELD techniques.

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate the characteristics of initially UR-PC cases who received modified FFX or GNP treatment. The results showed that the resection group had better overall survival, with independent prognostic factors including normalized CA19-9 concentration and tumor shrinkage after chemotherapy. Stratification according to prognostic score was useful in predicting outcomes of UR-PC cases.

Summary: The main aim of this paper is to establish connections between various subclasses of analytic univalent functions by using a specific convolution operator involving generalized hypergeometric distribution series. Specifically, the connections between classes such as k - UCV* (beta), k - Sp* (beta), R(beta), R tau (A, B), k - PUCV* (beta), and k - PSp* (beta) in the open unit disc U are examined.

Summary: This study evaluated rectal temperature and infrared thermography as qualification for targeted metaphylaxis in newly received beef steers. The results showed that using rectal temperature or ocular infrared temperature as criteria for targeted metaphylaxis can decrease the proportion of animals administered antimicrobials without affecting growth performance.

Summary: The Connected Max-k-Cut Problem is an extension of the well-known Max-Cut Problem, where the objective is to partition a graph into k connected subgraphs by maximizing the cost of inter-partition edges. The researchers propose a new integer linear program and a branch-and-cut algorithm for this problem, and also use graph isomorphism to structure the instances and facilitate their resolution. Extensive computational experiments show that, if k > 2, their approach outperforms existing algorithms in terms of quality.

Summary: Nonparametric regression subject to convexity or concavity constraints is gaining popularity in various fields. The conventional convex regression method often suffers from overfitting and outliers. This paper proposes the convex support vector regression method to address these issues and demonstrates its advantages in prediction accuracy and robustness through numerical experiments.

Summary: This paper studies a variant of the orienteering problem known as the clustered orienteering problem. In this problem, customers are grouped into clusters and a profit is associated with each cluster, collected only when all customers in the cluster are served. The proposed evolutionary algorithm, incorporating a backbone-based crossover operator and a destroy-and-repair mutation operator, outperforms existing algorithms on benchmark instances and sets new records on some instances. It also demonstrates scalability on large instances and has shown superiority over three state-of-the-art COP algorithms. The algorithm is also successfully applied to a dynamic version of the COP considering stochastic travel time.

Summary: Estimating treatment effects is an important task for data analysts, and uplift models provide support for efficient allocation of treatments. However, evaluating uplift models is challenging due to variance issues. This paper theoretically analyzes the variance of uplift evaluation metrics, proposes variance reduction methods based on statistical adjustment, and demonstrates their benefits on simulated and real-world data.

Summary: This study investigates the impact of channel relationships between manufacturers on government policies and explores the effectiveness of positive incentives versus taxes in increasing social welfare. The findings suggest that competition may be more effective in improving sustainability and social welfare. Additionally, government incentives for green technology may not necessarily enhance sustainability.
