Summary: Coordination and decision-making techniques are essential for establishing teamwork. When selecting a joint task, it is important to consider both agents' preferences and their probability of executing the task. The IMAGINE model gathers data from agents and considers the requisite quorum to determine the optimal decision for the team.

Summary: This review focuses on the microecology in the existing novel biological nitrogen removal process, including the growth characteristics and interactions of functional microorganisms, as well as the effects of different influencing factors on microbial communities evolution. It also explores the influence of quorum sensing (QS) systems on nitrogen removal microbes and proposes the need for further investigation into the mechanisms of action and composition of QS system circuits. Molecular analysis techniques and systems ecology theory are suggested for future exploration of microbial species and ecological niches to enhance the development of the novel biological nitrogen removal process.

Summary: This study proposes a decision-making method for complex system design in a heterogeneous language information environment. The method constructs a theoretical system scheme set, uses a multi-objective programming model to select the best system scheme set, and integrates stakeholders' preference information using a trapezoidal asymmetric cloud model to solve the problem in system design.

Summary: We propose a Markov Decision Process Model that combines ideas from Psychological research and Economics to study decision-making in people with self-control issues. From Psychological research, we borrow a dual-process of decision-making with self-awareness, and from Economics, we introduce present bias in inter-temporal preferences. We examine both exogenous and endogenous, state-dependent, present bias in inter-temporal decision-making, and use numerical simulations to explore the impact on well-being. Our findings suggest that self-awareness can alleviate present bias and suboptimal choice behavior over time.

Summary: This research investigates the validity of the ergodic hypothesis and the influence of ergodicity breaking on human decision-making processes within economic models. The study introduces the concept of 'risk of ruin' into a decision-making model and finds that human decision-makers are sensitive to non-ergodicity within purely additive dynamics. The findings highlight the importance of time averages in human decision-making and suggest that humans are less irrational than assumed in behavioral models rooted in expected values.

Summary: The aim of this paper is to introduce large-scale group decision-making (LSGDM) into three-way decisions (3WDs) with decision-theoretic rough sets (DTRSs) and propose LSGDM based 3WDs under linguistic assessments. The paper focuses on the proper management of experts opinions and their non-cooperative behaviors (NCBs), as well as the calculation of loss function using LSGDM approach. The proposed model uses clustering method to divide experts with similar evaluations into subgroups and develops cluster consensus index (CCI) and group consensus index (GCI) to measure the level of consensus among clusters.

Summary: This study introduces a new multicriteria decision making method, FTBWA, to address consistency, complexity, and reliability issues in existing methods. The researchers propose a consistency ratio to check the reliability of FTBWA results and conduct two case studies to verify practicality. Additionally, a comprehensive analysis including comparative analysis, rank reversal analysis, and support for group decision making shows that FTBWA outperforms existing fuzzy/crisp MCDM methods.

Summary: Transportation is a vital economic activity in both business and daily life, and its decision-making process seeks to address current and future transportation problems. This research focuses on the novel concept of interval-valued complex fuzzy sets (IVCFS) and IVCF soft relations (IVCFSRs) to improve transportation strategies. The effectiveness of the suggested work is demonstrated through comparative analysis with existing methods.

Summary: Prey species gain benefits from group formations, but blind copying of behavior can lead to the spread of poor information. To impede this, animals have developed information-dampening mechanisms, such as consensus decision making. In the case of Eurasian oystercatchers, the decision of leaving the roosting site is coordinated through local interactions and is influenced by the size of the group.

Summary: One of the most effective approaches to tackle uncertainty is the theory of bipolar complex fuzzy set (BCFS). This article introduces the HM and GHM operators under a bipolar complex fuzzy setting, and applies them in a method called the multiple attribute decision making (MADM) procedure. A descriptive example is provided to demonstrate the applicability and usefulness of the initiated MADM procedure. The usefulness of the propounded operators and MADM procedure is further demonstrated by comparing them with several present operators and MADM techniques.

Summary: The paper proposes a novel three-way group investment decision (3WGID) model under intuitionistic fuzzy multi attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) environment. The model aims to deepen the understanding of three-way decision (3WD) and expand its applications in profit-based investment decision making problems by calculating relative cost and revenue functions, integrating aggregated functions, and determining overall profit functions of alternatives through collective opinions of multiple experts. The effectiveness and feasibility of the 3WGID model are demonstrated through a coalfield investment case study.

Summary: Based on interviews with French consumers, this qualitative study examines couple ethical purchasing behavior. The findings reveal that ethical couples engage in positive information exchange, trust their partner's knowledge, and use persuasion strategies, while unethical couples experience negative information exchange, difficulties in joint decision making, and minimize conflicts. Time, money, and pleasure are identified as critical factors restricting couples' purchase of ethical products.
