Summary: This study aimed to identify and explore barriers to accessing quality injury care from the perspectives of injured patients, caregivers, and community leaders. Through qualitative research methods, the study found multiple barriers across various stages of care, including barriers to seeking, reaching, receiving, and remaining in care. Key barriers mentioned were the lack of community health insurance, limited access to ambulances, insufficient number of trauma care specialists, and decentralized rehabilitation services.

Summary: In a rural health system with limited dermatology appointment availability, primary care provider diagnostic accuracy may be a key barrier to receiving dermatology care and achieving health outcomes. Older or non-working patients are more likely to remain unevaluated rather than seek care that is more convenient but geographically further away.

Summary: During the COVID-19 pandemic, migrants in cities along the Mexico-United States border faced barriers in accessing the public Mexican health system. The main limitations include administrative barriers that decrease migrants' ability to reach the system, and out-of-pocket costs that limit their ability to pay. Civil society organizations played a crucial role in providing social support and helping migrants overcome these barriers.

Summary: A cross-sectional survey of rehabilitation providers in the US and internationally revealed that the majority of hospitals/clinics (76%) do not have a comprehensive pediatric oncology rehabilitation program, and there is still a lack of education and training regarding pediatric cancer rehabilitation. Research indicates the need for further support to develop and implement comprehensive pediatric oncology rehabilitation programs for children with cancer.

Summary: This study investigates transportation barriers to accessing health care services during the COVID-19 pandemic among high-frequency health care users. The results indicate that approximately one-third of respondents experienced transportation barriers, with individuals aged 18-64, people with disabilities, and people without a household vehicle being more likely to encounter these barriers. The cost of traveling for medical appointments and a lack of driver or car availability were identified as major transportation barriers.

Summary: This study identified the barriers and enablers to implementing clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) recommendations in primary care. The findings suggest that policy-driven strategies should be developed to optimize resource allocation, promote integrated care models, establish well-coordinated multidisciplinary networks, increase technical support, encourage healthcare providers and patients' engagement, standardize guideline reporting, enhance education and training, and stimulate motivations to facilitate the uptake of CPGs recommendations in primary care.

Summary: This study aims to identify biomarkers for evaluating seizure-related differences and proposes a biomarker that can classify pre-ictal and inter-ictal data from epilepsy patients. By analyzing the data of 42 pediatric epilepsy patients, it is found that DCCA analysis based on changes in heart rate and electrodermal activity can predict seizure occurrence.
