The direct electrochemistry of glucose oxidase (GOD) immobilized in layered double hydroxide (LDH) nanosheet film was studied and compared with that in LDH nanoparticle film for the first time. The results revealed that LDH nanosheets could greatly improve the direct electrochemistry of GOD. (C) 2008 The Electrochemical Society.
