Antifoaming in aqueous foams

Recent developments are summarized in understanding antifoaming action by oil drops and solid particles, either separately or in combination, on aqueous foams. Of particular significance is a paper by N.D. Denkov [Denkov, N.D., Mechanisms of foam destruction by oil-based antifoams.
