Summary: Neutron diffraction and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements were used to analyze the magnetic structure of the S = 12 kagome antiferromagnet CdCu3(OH)(6)(NO3)(2) middot H2O. The results revealed a chirality-ordered magnetic structure with negative vector chirality and (100) anisotropy.

Summary: The kinetics and mechanisms of gas-phase reactions between NO3 radical and two branched unsaturated aldehydes have been investigated. Experimental and theoretical approaches were used to determine the rate constants and explore the reaction mechanisms. The results showed good agreement between experiments and calculations, and the impact on atmospheric chemistry was discussed.

Summary: The phase equilibrium and physic-chemical properties of Rb2SO4(1)-RbBr(2)-H2O(3) and Cs2SO4(1)-CsBr(2)-H2O(3) systems were determined at different temperatures, showing one invariant point, two univariant curves, and three crystallization regions. The area of the crystallization region for RbBr and CsBr salts decreases with higher temperatures. The crystallization region area is strongly influenced by the solubility and hydration ability of the salts.

Summary: This study investigated the properties and catalytic activity of calcium silicate hydrates with copper oxide. The catalyst was synthesized using the hydrothermal method. The results showed that a mixture of copper oxide and semicrystalline calcium silicate hydrates was obtained. The synthesized mesoporous sample exhibited a significantly high specific surface area and promising catalytic performance.

Summary: In this study, the electronic equilibrium structures and tautomerization process in (2,6-aza)Ind center dot(H2O)(2-3) cluster were investigated using DFT and TDDFT methods. Three novel stable clusters were identified with unique water arrangements, and the interaction strength and type were analyzed. The findings suggest that quadruple proton transfer is more preferred than triple proton transfer.

Summary: This paper presents an ion interaction model for calculating solution properties and phase equilibria in the binary system Ba(NO3)(2)-H2O. The model parameters for the quaternary system Na+-Ba2+-Cl--NO3-H2O are also provided. The study discusses the impact of additional ions on the solubility and deliquescence behavior of Ba(NO3)(2)(cr).

Summary: This study systematically investigated the thermodynamics and phase evolution of calcium nitrate tetrahydrate. The pyrolysis process of calcium nitrate tetrahydrate can be divided into four stages. The activation energies of calcium nitrate pyrolysis were determined using three iso-conversion methods. The pyrolysis process of calcium nitrate further expands the industrial application of nitric acid pressure leaching.

Summary: This study demonstrates the excellent heat storage performance of magnesium hydroxide doped with cerium nitrate and lithium hydroxide, reducing dehydration temperatures, increasing dehydration and heat storage rates, and decreasing activation energy and pre-exponential factor. The research also shows the promising reversibility of the dehydration-hydration cycle for heat storage using these composites.

Summary: The study provides a comprehensive dataset of thermodynamic and calorimetric properties of calcium nitrate aqueous solutions over a wide range of temperature and concentration. A temperature-dependent Pitzer-Simonson-Clegg model is proposed to accurately describe the liquid phase properties as well as solid-liquid and vapor-liquid equilibria, including metastable states. Improved accuracy is achieved by incorporating diverse experimental data types simultaneously.

Summary: The solubility data of the quaternary system is crucial for the separation of potassium and boron in salt lake brines. Through experimental investigation, it was found that the solution density and refractive index of the quaternary system change regularly with increasing Mg2+ concentration at 318.15 K. The phase diagrams of the system at this temperature show multiple crystallization regions and invariant points.
