Summary: This study analyzed the genetic structure of P. fluviatilis in China using microsatellite markers. A large number of microsatellite markers were developed based on genomic data, and the genetic diversity of wild populations was evaluated. Summary: This study aimed to characterize the genetic diversity of daylily species, early hybrids, and cultivars using SSR markers and identify the origin of early hybrids. Samples from different types of daylilies were collected, and SSR primers developed for Citrus x citrofortunella were used. The most informative primer was SAU00097. Heterozygosity was highest in Lithuanian cultivars and lowest in species. Genetic relationships showed that fulvous daylilies formed a separate cluster. The highest variation among genotypes was observed in the species group, while modern cultivars had the least variation. The putative origin of early hybrids was analyzed, and triploid species were identified as ancestors of several modern cultivars.

Summary: The objective of this study was to assess the genetic diversity, phylogenetic relationship, and population structure of five goat breeds in Shanxi, China. The results showed high genetic diversities in the five populations, with Licheng big green goat (LCBG) having the highest genetic diversity and Jinlan cashmere goat (JLCG) having the lowest genetic diversity. The genetic differentiation analysis revealed a close genetic relationship between LCBG and LLBG (Lvliang black goat), while JLCG showed the largest genetic distance from the other four populations. The population structure of JLCG differed from the other four populations. Understanding the genetic diversity and population structure of indigenous goats is crucial for genetic improvement, understanding environmental adaptation, and the utilization and conservation of goat breeds.

Summary: With the increasing scale of crayfish breeding, it is important to select and breed high-quality fry to avoid degradation of the fry. This study analyzed the genetic structure and diversity of three Procambarus clarkii populations and found that the Xuancheng population exhibited the highest genetic diversity. These results provide valuable information for breeding programs and suggest that the Xuancheng population has a better genetic background for genetic breeding.
