Water uptake of epoxy-clay nanocomposites: Model development

Models for the water uptake behavior of epoxy-clay nanocomposites are presented. Diffusion models for epoxy including Fick's law, the Langmuir model of diffusion, diffusion with time-varying diffusivity, and diffusion models for composites are reviewed.
