Summary: The study results show that implant design does not significantly affect primary and secondary stability, bone level, and PES/WES evaluation outcomes. Good osseointegration, stability, maintenance of crestal bone, and appropriate PES/WES scores were achieved in immediate implant placement. Criteria for selecting the ideal patient for immediate implant placement are essential.

Summary: The study compared the aesthetic results of flapless single implants placed in fresh extraction sockets with immediate provisional restoration with or without connective tissue graft. There was no significant difference in the aesthetic outcome and implant survival rate between the groups, suggesting that the use of a connective tissue graft may not be necessary for successful aesthetic outcomes in immediate implant placement.

Summary: Osseointegration capacity and mechanical behavior are crucial for the success of dental implants. This study examined the impact of roughness and material on these factors using the same implant model. The results showed that roughness plays a key role in improving osseointegration, with zirconia implants performing poorly due to lack of toughness and rapid crack propagation.
