Summary: A novel tri-solvent MEA+EAE+AMP was prepared to overcome the challenges of slow kinetics and high energy cost in CO2 capture technology. The optimized concentrations for absorption and desorption were found to be 0.2+2 mol/L and 0.4+2 mol/L respectively. The tri-solvent showed better absorption performance and a higher CO2 loading compared to MEA+BEA+AMP.

Summary: Co-administration of Omeprazole (OME) can enhance the chemotherapeutic effect of cisplatin (CDDP) and reverse the expression of multidrug resistance-associated protein 2 in CDDP-resistant tumors. Metabolomics analysis showed that the enhanced chemotherapy with CDDP and OME regulated the metabolism of purines, several amino acids, and riboflavin.

Summary: Deep eutectic solvents are efficient gas absorbents, with AChBr+Gly showing higher absorption capacity for SO2 compared to ChBr+Gly. The absorption mechanisms differ between the two solvents, involving physisorption, quasichemisorption, and chemisorption for AChBr+Gly, while only physisorption and quasi-chemisorption are observed for ChBr+Gly.

Summary: This study investigated the impact of alterations in intestinal microbiota and their functional changes post small bowel transplantation. The findings suggested that changes in gut microbiota may lead to immune-mediated inflammatory injury post-transplantation. Therefore, monitoring and regulating intestinal microbiota is essential for improving graft survival in SBT patients.

Summary: Information extraction (IE) is a crucial step in digitization that reduces paperwork in offices. However, adapting common IE systems to actual business cases faces challenges due to limited training samples and the time required for training and inference. To overcome these issues, a new query-based model is introduced, which employs transfer learning and a novel CNN layer for domain-specific adaptation. The model encodes short tags and context documents in parallel channels, speeding up training and inference time. Promising results on domain-specific datasets in English and Japanese demonstrate the model's effectiveness for business scenarios.

Summary: This study compared the efficacy and safety of vonoprazan-amoxicillin dual therapy with bismuth quadruple therapy and explored the optimal dosage of amoxicillin. The results showed that the eradication rates of bismuth quadruple therapy, vonoprazan-amoxicillin dual therapy, and vonoprazan-amoxicillin dual therapy were 90.9%, 93.4%, and 85.1% respectively. The efficacy of vonoprazan-amoxicillin dual therapy was not inferior to bismuth quadruple therapy.

Summary: This study aims to identify the clinical and histopathological risk factors of lymph node metastasis (LNM) in T1 CRC. The results showed that lymphovascular invasion (LVI), perineural invasion, mucinous subtype, and low age are independent risk factors, while depth of submucosal invasion is not an independent risk factor.

Summary: The European Colonoscopy Quality Investigation (ECQI) Group aims to raise awareness and improve colonoscopy standards across Europe. They analyzed data on procedures conducted in Europe to evaluate the achievement of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) mean withdrawal time target. They also investigated factors associated with withdrawal time, hoping to identify areas for quality improvement.

Summary: Patient experience after colonoscopy is an important quality indicator, but there is no standardized approach to measure it and the performance of existing patient-reported experience measures (PREMs) is unclear. This study developed a conceptual model describing how patients experience colonoscopy and compared it with existing PREMs. The model consists of five concepts, including health motivation, discomfort, information, a caring relationship, and understanding. The findings suggest the need for new colonoscopy-specific PREMs that fully capture patients' experiences.

Summary: This systematic review with meta-analysis evaluates the inter- and intra-observer agreement in video-capsule endoscopy (VCE) reading. The analysis shows substantial heterogeneity and sub-optimal agreement in both inter- and intra-observer evaluation of VCE reading. The adoption of artificial intelligence-based tools and a unified terminology may help enhance the levels of agreement in VCE reading.

Summary: Colon capsule endoscopy (CCE) is a promising method for colonic investigations. In this study, a low-volume polyethylene glycol (PEG) laxative was compared to a high-volume laxative for bowel preparation before CCE. The results showed that the low-volume regimen was non-inferior to the high-volume regimen in terms of completion rate and adequate cleansing rate.

Summary: The main aim of this study was to evaluate indicative small-bowel capsule endoscopy (SBCE) findings, and the secondary aim was to describe clinical presentation in patients with Meckel's diverticulum (MD). The diagnosis of MD is rare and sometimes challenging, and a preoperative criterion standard does not exist. In SBCE, the most frequent findings were the double-lumen sign and visible diverticular entrance, sometimes together with ulcers.
