Summary: A rapid and sensitive method using micellar liquid chromatography was proposed for quantification of five sulfonamides in medicated feeds for pigs and poultry. The method showed satisfactory separation and quantification of sulfonamides, with recovery rates between 72.7% to 94.7% and low coefficients of variations for repeatability and reproducibility. This proposed procedure provides a simple and interference-free approach for routine control of feeds.

Summary: A LC-DAD method was developed for potency testing of up to sixteen cannabinoids and applied to analyze twenty hemp-infused edibles with complex matrices. The method was validated according to ISO 17025 guidelines and met the requirements. By spiking abnormal cannabidiol into each sample, extraction recovery was tracked in real time, resulting in 90 to 108% recovery with relative standard deviations of 0.5 to 6.5%. The linear calibration range for each cannabinoid was between 0.008 and 10% (w/w), except for drinks where it was between 0.0008 and 1% (w/w).

Summary: The cardiovascular system and the central nervous system exhibit a coordinated developmental process during embryonic development. Congenital heart disease (CHD) is the most common congenital disorder, and neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) are common complications in CHD patients. Both genetic and non-genetic factors contribute to the co-occurrence of CHD and NDD. Further research should focus on identifying common molecular mechanisms underlying this co-occurrence and promoting the research and treatment of developmental disorders related to the cardiovascular and central nervous systems.
