Summary: In this study, a novel mesoporous polymer microsphere (MPM) was fabricated using photoinitiated suspension polymerization. The MPM had large mesopores, which reduced the diffusion resistance of target molecules. The modified MPM exhibited excellent adsorption performance for nitrogen-containing sulfonamides and was successfully used for the enrichment and separation of sulfonamides from real aqueous samples.

Summary: A fluorescent biosensor was designed for the label-free detection of ctDNA based on the stronger affinity of MnO2 nanosheets towards ssDNA. The biosensor utilized MnO2 NSs as a nanoenzyme to oxidize dopamine into fluorescent polydopamine nanoparticles as a signal. The sensor demonstrated high sensitivity, stability, and reproducibility, and was successfully applied for the detection of ctDNA in serum samples and cell lysates.

Summary: In this study, a simple, sustainable, low-cost, and safe strategy for preparing fluorescence-encoded microbeads (FEBs) is proposed by assembling fluorescent proteins (FPs) onto magnetic microbeads (MBs) via chemical coupling. The FP-based FEBs have high stability and can tolerate the use of organic solution. The method enables multiplex detection of femtomolar ssDNA molecules and shows advantages such as high sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, repeatability, rapidity, and cost-effectiveness, making it suitable for various research fields.
