Summary: A naphthalene-grafted zirconium-organic framework UiO-66, known as HNA@UiO-66-NH2, was synthesized and demonstrated high selectivity and sensitivity in fluorescence sensing. It exhibited turn-off response to Fe3+ in methanol and turn-on response to ClO4- in ethanol, with obvious changes in fluorescence color and low detection limits. Additionally, it could be easily used for naked-eye detection of Fe3+ and ClO4- in a test paper mode.

Summary: A highly emissive microgel with temperature responsive fluorescence emission was synthesized, and a novel artificial light harvesting system with high energy transfer efficiency was constructed by inserting Rhodamine B onto the microgels surface. Both the microgel and light-harvesting system showed good cytocompatibility, making them ideal candidates for cell imaging. This provides a new strategy for tunable luminescent nanomaterials fabrication and expands potential applications in fields such as stomach recognition, temperature sensors, and drug delivery.

Summary: A unique fluorescent carbon dot-magnetic nanocomposite (Fe3O4/CDs) was prepared for sensitive detection of Hg2+, showing higher selectivity and sensitivity with a detectable limit of 0.3 nM. The emission quenched by Hg2+ could be restored in the presence of saturated EDTA solution. The Fe3O4/CDs also demonstrated effective removal of Hg2+ from samples, making it a promising probe in environmental monitoring.
