Palladium catalyzed ligand-free Suzuki cross-coupling reaction

A highly efficient ligand-free Suzuki cross-coupling reaction between aryl halides and aryl boronic acids using palladium chloride as catalyst in toluene has been developed. High yields of products, mild reaction conditions as well as the obviation of ligand are important features of this method. The palladium can be reused for four times. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V.
