Socioeconomics, Race, and Ethnicity in Childhood Cancer Survival: Accessing and Addressing Root Causes of Disparities

This editorial, which accompanies an article by Kehm et al on the contribution of socioeconomic status to racial and ethnic disparities in childhood cancer survival, addresses the epidemiologic challenges of understanding social determinants of disparities as well as future directions for research and intervention in this area.
