Summary: The study revealed the existence of eight pias genes in the rainbow trout genome, each showing differential expression in tissues and cells. Three structurally different Pias protein variants were found to suppress the activity of the NF-kappa B promoter in a dose-dependent manner, with potential different immune gene regulation in ifn γ-expressing cells.

Summary: The JAK/STAT signaling pathway plays a crucial role in immune regulation, affecting cell proliferation, survival, inflammation, and immune tolerance. Aberrant activation of this pathway can lead to autoimmune diseases and cancer progression, while targeting JAK/STAT has shown efficacy in suppressing inflammation. The success of small-molecule JAK inhibitors in treating rheumatologic diseases highlights their therapeutic potential in other conditions.

Summary: This study aims to establish a septic rat model and evaluate the effect of TOFA on the survival rate and acute lung injury in septic rats. The results show that TOFA significantly improves the survival rate of septic rats and reduces lung tissue damage by inhibiting the expression of inflammatory factors. These findings suggest that TOFA may be a promising drug for the treatment of acute lung injury in sepsis.

Summary: The JAK-STAT signaling pathway is closely related to cell proliferation, apoptosis, differentiation, and inflammatory response, essential for inhibiting inflammation, initiating innate immunity, and coordinating adaptive immune mechanisms. Various plant polyphenol compounds play a role in suppressing abnormal activation in the JAK-STAT pathway, showing significant effects in anti-inflammatory, antitumor, and cardiovascular disease control.

Summary: This study examines the effect of chestnut tannins (ChT) on broiler chicken immunity pathways, finding that ChT may influence host immunity through an IL-6 mediated response beneficial for early defense against pathogens. Additionally, the inclusion of ChT alters the role of the JAK-STAT pathway in the regulation of the immune system.

Summary: 7-OBA treatment significantly increased survival rate and normalized temperature of sepsis mice, reduced levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines, increased anti-inflammatory cytokines, and reversed CLP-induced abnormalities in kidney, liver, and heart function. The anti-sepsis effect of 7-OBA may be associated with the regulation of NF-κB and JAK2-STAT3 signaling pathways.

Summary: The cooperation between Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Mobile Robot Manipulators (MRMs) offers great potential and flexibility to modern industry. Although there are systematic literature reviews in this field, there is currently no investigation on the research landscape for the combined use of UAVs and MRMs. This paper aims to conduct a systematic review to identify the future areas to be addressed.

Summary: Climate change enforces implementation of sustainable industrial production, focusing on pollution reduction, resource management, and energy savings. Advanced control methods, based on optimization problems, are used to achieve these goals. Heat exchangers are challenging when designing advanced controllers, but model predictive control (MPC) is an effective strategy. The real-time implementation of MPC depends on the number of inequality constraints, and removing inactive constraints reduces computational effort. However, disturbances and uncertainties limit the application of conventional constraint removal MPC. This paper proposes a modified approach to address this issue and achieves robustness for a laboratory-scaled heat exchanger, analyzing control performance from an industrial perspective.

Summary: This paper presents a method using a projection-based reduced order model (ROM) and extended Kalman filter to estimate the velocity and pressure fields of fluid flows inside a centrifugal pump in realtime. The measurement locations are optimized using a greedy algorithm and the robustness of the estimation is ensured with a time-variant observability matrix. The results of the ROMs and extended Kalman filter based on a 2D centrifugal pump simulation are also presented.

Summary: The simulation of industry-scale reactive bulks is challenging due to the complex interaction between fluid and particles. Finite Volume (FV) methods used in current models can be computationally expensive, especially with high inner-particle resolution. Single particle Reduced Models (RMs) can provide fast and accurate descriptions of particle processes, reducing computational cost and time. The use of RMs with manifold-based nonlinear interpolation can accelerate simulations with high inner-particle resolution.
