Summary: The application of chemistry concepts in biological settings is important in drug discovery, especially in the field of molecular docking. This article introduces a molecular docking activity for cancer drug discovery that requires minimal coding knowledge and can be used in undergraduate/graduate chemistry and biochemistry courses. The activity utilizes free, open-source software to carry out molecular docking of multiple ligands, predict binding energy, and determine drugs for further in vitro testing based on noncovalent ligand-protein interactions.

Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a major shift in oncology postgraduate education towards virtual learning. However, students and faculty teachers have different opinions on the effectiveness and interactivity of virtual teaching. While virtual learning has reduced student-teacher interactions, most teachers believe that some level of virtual teaching should be maintained even after the pandemic.

Summary: In this activity, students used an online periodic table to observe the chemical and physical properties of elements, which were displayed numerically and with colors. The elements were then categorized into metals, nonmetals, and metalloids, and their periodic properties were visualized using statistical concepts and tools including normality, kurtosis, histograms, Q-Q plots, p values, and boxplots. The statistical analyses were performed using JASP, a free and open-source software written in the R language.

Summary: There is a pressing need for accurate and engaging web-based health care content to inform and influence behavioral change. This study aimed to identify factors affecting engagement with web-based health care content and developed a framework based on six key categories: easy to understand, support, adaptability, accessibility, visuals and content, and credibility and completeness. Despite significant heterogeneity in interventions and outcome assessments, the framework may be useful for creators in the field. Existing data on this topic are limited, and future work may involve further refinement of the framework through a co-design process.
