Summary: Specially designed small molecule compounds can inhibit the effect of downstream effector molecules by covalently binding to the catalytic domain of KRas. This study successfully prepared a high-purity KRas protein catalytic domain and confirmed its binding with a small molecule inhibitor. The competitive effect of the binding on downstream protein was analyzed through molecular docking. This research laid a foundation for further investigation of the binding conditions and complex structure of the protein with small molecule inhibitors.

Summary: Traumatic brain injury is a serious health issue that disrupts normal brain function and poses a major risk for Parkinson's disease. Current treatments have limited efficacy, leading researchers to explore mTOR inhibitors as potential therapeutic targets, with promising results in clinical trials.

Summary: The study revealed a potential relationship between CDK4 upregulation and acquired resistance to DT therapy in NSCLC patients with BRAF V600E mutation. This suggests that CDK4 may play a role in mediating resistance to the combination therapy with dabrafenib and trametinib.

Summary: This study aimed to determine if advanced BRAF-mutant NSCLC has a higher thromboembolic events (TEE) rate. The study found that approximately 30% of patients experienced TEE, suggesting that systematic anticoagulation should be offered to these patients. However, there was no significant association between clinical and molecular features, as well as cancer treatment, and TEE occurrence.

Summary: The study suggests that the addition of EVR and reduction of Tac may reduce kidney allograft fibrosis, and the suppression of the mTOR signaling process may be involved in this anti-fibrotic effect of the immunosuppressive regimen.

Summary: The study found that tangeretin can improve the viability of cardiomyocytes induced by oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation, reduce lactate dehydrogenase levels, suppress inflammatory factor release, and cell apoptosis. However, the protective effect of tangeretin was disrupted after Pim-1 proto-oncogene, serine/threonine kinase knockdown.
