Summary: This study explores the design and evaluation of Team-based Interprofessional Practice Placements (TIPPs) to support undergraduate students in gaining a better understanding of patient problems and collaboration within interprofessional teams. The study found that TIPPs enhance students' understanding of patient complexity and the value of interprofessional team members' expertise. However, TIPPs need to strike an appropriate balance between teacher support and student autonomy to enhance student learning.

Summary: This paper proposes an evolution analysis method for cross-domain collaborative research topics, aiming to explore the trends of interdisciplinary research topics. The method utilizes LDA and Word2vec models to extract topics and introduces a cross-domain topic evolution model based on cross-time and cross-domain topic associations. With the evolution analysis strategy, the method realizes the analysis of cross-domain topics and generates a synergistic evolution vein. The case study in this paper provides a scientific analysis of the integration and development of research topics in cognition-based product design.

Summary: This study evaluated the changes in clinicians' use of evidence-based practice (EBP), openness toward EBP, and acceptance of organizational changes after a rehabilitation hospital transitioned to a new facility. The results showed increased use of EBP over time, with no significant changes in attitudes toward EBP. Acceptance of the new model of care was initially low but increased over time. The study highlighted the importance of communication between clinicians and researchers in promoting clinician-researcher collaborations.

Summary: This narrative review explores the current state of walking recovery research after stroke and its potential for development. The importance of targeting walking capacity and performance in relation to individual stroke survivor gait recovery is discussed, along with the need for a common language, measurement, classification, prediction, and current and future intervention development and healthcare delivery. The findings are summarized in a model of current and future stroke walking recovery research, and a mission statement is set to drive the field forward and improve the lives of stroke survivors and their caregivers.

Summary: This paper proposes a position/force evaluation-based assist-as-needed (PFEAAN) control strategy for upper limb rehabilitation exoskeleton, aiming to stimulate active participation of subjects during training. The control framework includes an outer fuzzy adaptive impedance controller (FAIC) loop and an inner barrier Lyapunov function-based controller with radial basis function neural network estimation (RBFNN-BLFC) loop for assistive force determination and exoskeleton control. The proposed strategy utilizes impedance-based assistive force and fuzzy logic for stiffness adjustment, and applies a cosecant type barrier Lyapunov function and RBFNN for tracking error bound and dynamics estimation. Simulation studies show the effectiveness of the PFEAAN controller.

Summary: This study identified clinical trials registered after 2015 that focus on primary outcomes with high Certainty of Evidence ratings in Cochrane SRs. Among 602 SRs analyzed, 81 contained high ratings on at least one primary outcome, totaling 152 high-rated outcomes. A total of 39 clinical trials were found to be registered for primary outcomes already rated as high in a 2015 Cochrane SR.

Summary: This study used action research to implement a clinical pathway and evaluate its impact on the general prerequisites for evidence-based practice (EBP). Results showed that the staff had more discussions about the importance of patients' experiences, research utilization, context, and facilitation, while attitudes towards guidelines remained positive and unchanged. Anesthesiologists were more likely to discuss the importance of clinical experience, and longer professional experience was associated with a lower probability of discussing research utilization. Overall, action research improved some aspects of EBP prerequisites according to the PARIHS framework.
