The results showed significant deficits in newborn weight and head circumference following marijuana exposure throughout gestation and in the first and second trimester. However, newborn length was not significantly predicted by marijuana exposure. Therefore, women should be encouraged to avoid marijuana use during pregnancy.

Summary: This study examines the impact of COVID-19 on clinical psychiatric diagnoses using electronic health records from the New York City metropolitan region. The findings show that patients with pre-COVID psychiatric diagnoses are more likely to have subsequent anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and psychosis after COVID-19 infection. Patients without pre-COVID psychiatric diagnoses are more likely to have substance use disorders and new diagnoses of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and psychosis during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Summary: This study investigated the familial relationships between interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome (IC) and other nociplastic pain disorders (e.g. fibromyalgia), irritable bowel syndrome, myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, and psychiatric conditions (major depressive disorder, panic disorder). The results showed strong evidence for heritable interrelationships among these conditions, indicating a common genetic component.
