We demonstrate a bidirectional current drag device, in which an electron tunneling through a double-quantum-clot (DQD) drags another electron in the other DQD in the same or opposite direction. The direction can be switched by choosing the corresponding cotunneling process of the two electrons. A reasonable drag effect is experimentally confirmed in a GaAs device. This result encourages optimizing the device for current mirror functions. (C) 2009 The Japan Society of Applied Physics
