Summary: The study investigates LaFe1_xNixO3_delta redox catalysts for CO2 utilization and production of syngas. Different compositions of LaFe1_xNixO3_delta were prepared and tested, showing favorable reactive performance. The flexibility of the catalysts to produce syngas or hydrogen with tunable compositions depends on the iron/nickel ratio. The stability and performance of the redox catalysts were proven over multiple cycles.

Summary: LaNiO3, La0.95Ce0.05NiO3, and La0.95Sr0.05NiO3 perovskites were synthesized as catalyst precursors for the Tri-reforming of methane. The partial substitution of La3+ by Ce4+ led to a higher CO2 conversion but decreased the selectivity for hydrogen. The H-2/CO ratio of the resulting synthesis gas depended on the metal incorporated into the LaNiO3 perovskite.

Summary: This study investigates the interaction between potassium salts (K2CO3, K2SO4, KH2PO4) and oxygen carriers (LD slag, ilmenite, mixtures of the two, and carriers diluted with silica sand). The results show that the interaction results in agglomeration to varying degrees. K2CO3 and K2SO4 form potassium silicates, while KH2PO4 forms a phosphorus-containing melt. The presence of LD slag leads to the formation of a K-Ca-P phase, which is not observed when ilmenite is present.

Summary: This study examined two types of oxygen vacancies (V-O) and their concentrations in MnO2 catalysts, finding that catalysts with higher concentrations of V-O (FM) exhibited superior reaction rates and stability compared to other types. Additionally, in situ DRIFTS spectra revealed that higher concentrations of V-O (FM) sites accelerated the transformation of intermediates, leading to the oxidation of toluene into CO2 and H2O.
