Evaluation of the efficacy and safety of direct oral anticoagulants in the treatment of portal vein thrombosis

Summary: The study demonstrated that direct oral anticoagulants are effective and safe in treating portal vein thrombosis and preventing recurrent thromboembolic events, with fewer failure and safety events compared to warfarin treatment. Further research with larger sample sizes is needed to confirm the efficacy of direct oral anticoagulants in portal vein thrombosis.

Summary: Clinical pharmacy has grown and expanded, but job satisfaction among clinical pharmacists hasn't improved. A survey found low satisfaction with time allocation, quality improvement, research, teaching, and recognition. Rewards and advancement pathways are also lacking. This white paper provides an update on the current state of rewards and recognition for clinical pharmacists and offers suggestions for improving job satisfaction and retention.
