Summary: This paper conceptualizes the linkages between different categories of GSCM practices and business innovation, and verifies the hypotheses through a survey of Brazilian firms. The results show that the internal heterogeneity of GSCM practices has an impact on innovation. It is also suggested that interaction and mutual influence with external actors during the implementation of GSCM practices are crucial for achieving innovation. The practical contribution of this study is to prioritize certain types of GSCM practices to improve innovative processes and enhance organizational performance.

Summary: This study aims to identify and understand the barriers of humanitarian supply-chain (HSC) during the disaster preparedness and immediate response phase, particularly for cyclones in the coastal areas of Bangladesh. Through literature review and consultation with experts, 10 barriers were identified. The findings show that a lack of integrated approach and coordination, inefficacy of multilateral information sharing, and shortage of experienced logisticians are the barriers with the highest driving powers in HSC.

Summary: With the increasing attention on sustainability due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a significant rise in interest in the green supply chain. This study, utilizing the resource-based view theory, provides deeper insights into the integration of resource-based characteristics that can facilitate a smooth transition from traditional to green supply chains, as well as enhance the effectiveness of existing green supply chains. The findings confirm the positive associations between supply chain connectivity, supply chain information sharing, top management commitment, green procurement and logistics acceptance, and green supply chain management. Moreover, the study identifies the serial mediation effect of top management commitment and green procurement and logistics acceptance on the relationship between supply chain connectivity and information sharing with green supply chain management. This study offers practical insights and contributes to the development of a novel green supply chain management scale.
