Summary: The study reports on an enantiopure coordination polymer involving a BINOL-derived bisphosphate ligand and demonstrates the formation of a mononuclear species in solution. The electronic circular dichroism signals were enhanced after metal coordination, and both polymeric and mononuclear structures exhibited field-induced Single-Molecule Magnet behavior. The HOMO -> LUMO transition of the ligand induced classical Dy(iii) emission at 77 K, correlating with the magnetic properties of the assembly.
