Summary: A shaver cap is a typical thin-walled rotational part, and the processing performance of its torus surface is crucial for cutting efficiency, sharpness, and working noise. Electrochemical face grinding (ECFG) is a promising method for difficult-to-cut thin-walled parts, but there can be challenges with flow field distribution and grinding marks on the torus surfaces. This study proposed using superimposed linear and circular translational movements to enhance the electrochemical grinding performance of multiple torus surfaces, achieving improved flatness and surface roughness under optimized parameters.

Summary: Berberine was extracted from Berberis vulgaris, Berberis aquifolium, and Hydrastis canadensis using ethanol and water (70:30, v/v). The extracted berberine was characterized using UV-visible and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. Thin-layer chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) methods were both employed for the separation and identification of berberine, and showed different applications. The extracted berberine exhibited better activity in treating Leishmaniosis compared to the standard drug Amphotericin B.

Summary: This study presents a protocol for the simultaneous electroanalysis of tryptamine, serotonin, and dopamine using a conducting poly-murexide-based electrode, the first report of its kind. The analytes underwent irreversible electro-oxidation at the modified electrode surface under optimized conditions, with linear ranges for dopamine, serotonin, and tryptamine. The specificity of the developed electrode was satisfactory in the presence of other biomolecules, and electroanalysis was demonstrated in human serum for these targets.

Summary: This paper proposes a novel liquid confinement technique to improve the deposition localization in the ECAM process. By using dichloromethane to confine the flow field distribution of electrolyte and localize the electric field, stray deposition can be avoided and deposition localization can be improved. Experimental results showed a 43.84% improvement in deposition localization compared to traditional methods.
