Summary: The study showed that single-leg exercise training can improve impaired skeletal muscle oxidative flux in people with type 2 diabetes, leading to increased skeletal muscle vasculature and oxygen delivery efficiency. This type of training is effective in improving cardiorespiratory fitness in individuals with type 2 diabetes.

Summary: Exercise with reduced muscle mass leads to greater muscle-specific adaptations compared to training with larger muscle mass. Single-leg cycling is an effective exercise that promotes positive physiological adaptations by confining the exercise to a smaller muscle mass and improving blood flow. Numerous studies have shown the cardiovascular and metabolic benefits of single-leg cycling for various populations.

Summary: This article presents a new method using TOF-MRA imaging technique to observe the arteries on the surface of the human brain. Through experimental verification, it is demonstrated that this method can detect small pial arteries with extremely high resolution. The research results indicate that the observation of pial arteries is no longer limited by blood flow velocity, but by image resolution.

Summary: Sap flow measurement is a effective method for quantifying plant water use, which is particularly important under water scarcity and climate change. There are multiple methods for measuring sap flow, but heat-based methods are prone to errors. Non-invasive and portable NMR tools show potential for sap flow measurement, although there are challenges associated with their applications. Developing a non-invasive, portable and inexpensive NMR tool would greatly enhance our ability to monitor vegetation responses to environmental change.

Summary: This research presents a new iterative predictor-corrector algorithm for solving fractional nuclear magnetic resonance flow equations. The algorithm shows higher accuracy and requires less computational time compared to previous numerical methods. It has a great potential for application in other chaotic systems of fractional differential equations.

Summary: The study evaluated six different sample preparation methods for quantitative NMR metabolomics analysis of drip from a lamb leg with extended shelf life. Three methods (ultrafiltration, solvent precipitation with either acetonitrile/acetone/methanol or chloroform/methanol) were recommended for their excellent protein removal, high concentrations of metabolites, and high reproducibility.

Summary: The study found that Silent MRA showed similar intensity distribution as PC-MRA in arterial regions, indicating a positive correlation. This suggests that Silent MRA can provide valuable CBF information in addition to evaluating arterial structure.

Summary: NMR-based diffusion methods are valuable tools for nanomedicine characterization and understanding interactions with the biological environment. They provide insights into diffusion phenomena and measurement of self-diffusion and mutual diffusion coefficients. NMR diffusometry spectroscopic and imaging methods have broad applications in nanomedicine, aiding in elucidating important issues.

Summary: This study tackles the detection of individual molecules by combining a hybrid sensor-a nitrogen vacancy center (NV) and a dangling bond on the diamond surface-with a multi-tone dynamical decoupling sequence. Via numerical simulations, the authors prove that the sequence minimizes the impact of decoherence, which allows using the dangling-bond as a signal amplifier.

Summary: This study characterized the profile of non-target serum metabolomics during prolonged exercise conducted under traffic-related air pollution (TRAP) conditions. The results showed significant changes in metabolomics, with different metabolic pathways affected at different time points during exercise, ultimately impairing glucose metabolism.
