Summary: The study investigated the association between objective and subjective health literacy through an online survey on depression and its treatments. It found that high objective health literacy levels are linked to beneficial health behaviors and the ability to recognize low-quality information on health websites. Only objective health literacy appears to have the potential to prevent individuals from falling victim to health misinformation.

Summary: This study aimed to identify the attributes and characteristics of the positive component of Mental Health Literacy (PMeHL) and explore its theoretical and practical applications. The study found that PMeHL is considered a component of Mental Health Literacy and includes attributes such as problem-solving skills, personal satisfaction, autonomy, interpersonal relationship skills, self-control, and a prosocial attitude. Understanding the antecedents and consequences of PMeHL can help improve mental health and promote healthy behaviors. Therefore, it is important to prioritize primary research focused on nursing interventions that enhance and sustain PMeHL in individuals and families.

Summary: As the prevalence of mental health conditions increases worldwide, the importance of mental health literacy (MHL) grows. This study aims to develop and validate a Universal mental health literacy scale for adolescents (UMHL-A) to assess MHL among children ages 10 to 14. Through literature review, item generation, and validation procedures, the scale's face and content validity, factor structure and construct validity, and convergent validity were tested. The UMHL-A scale, consisting of 17 items measuring four components of MHL, shows methodological advantages and comprehensive coverage compared to existing measures. Further research is needed for its global application and validity.

Most students expressed a need for more information on mental illnesses, treatments, stigma reduction, and communication with those with mental illness. They also believed that mental health first aid training should be mandatory for nursing students.
