Summary: This study describes a breast reduction technique based on liposuction, followed by skin resection, which makes the operation easier, faster, and safer, with more stable results. The results of this study have been extremely satisfactory, with most patients healing uneventfully and being happy with the final outcome.

Summary: The study aimed to achieve breast symmetry through ultrasonic assisted liposuction (UAL) in breast augmentation surgery, with 85% success rate in using equally sized implants. However, if different sized implants were required, the size difference between implants did not exceed 25 cc.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using liposuction to reduce resistance in the pedicle during breast reduction surgery. The results of the study showed that for certain patient groups (Group 1 and Group 2), liposuction in the pedicle area can effectively decrease pedicle resistance, overcome circulation issues, and achieve the desired breast reduction with good long-term results.

Summary: This study improves the accuracy of the spectrogram restoration model in calibration by using multiple-integral time fusion and an improved adaptive-threshold centroid algorithm to calculate the light spot position. A seven-parameter pyramid-traversal method is proposed to optimize the parameters of the spectrogram restoration model. The results show that the proposed spot position determination algorithm has an accuracy of 0.1 pixels, and the accuracy of the spectral restoration model is controlled within 0.3 pixels in a short-wave stage and 0.7 pixels in a long-wave stage.

Summary: This paper presents a design method for a two-material linear dispersion immersion grating device and a compact small F-number immersion grating spectrometer based on it. Compared with traditional single-material immersion grating imaging spectrometer, the designed imaging spectrometer has significantly improved dispersion linearity.

Summary: This study evaluates the benefits and losses of mammography with and without implant displacement, and proposes an appropriate imaging protocol for breast implant screening. The results show that ID MLO images have better cancer visibility and lower radiation dose compared to standard MLO images. For breast implant screening, ID MLO view alone is sufficient without compromising cancer detection capability.

Summary: This study evaluated the cleaning and sterilization of liposuction cannulas, and the protective effects of remaining fat residues on Mycobacterium abscessus subspecies bolletii (MASB) and Geo-bacillus stearothermophilus during steam sterilization. The findings showed that even after cleaning and sterilization, the contamination in liposuction cannulas could not be completely removed.

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate donor site satisfaction following autologous fat transfer (AFT) for total breast reconstruction in breast cancer patients. The results showed no significant difference in body satisfaction between AFT and implant-based reconstruction, indicating that large-volume liposuction does not aesthetically affect the utilized donor sites. However, reconstructive surgeons should be aware of possible donor site complications, especially contour irregularities at the thighs, and discuss this with their patients.

Summary: A deep-learning-based speckle denoising algorithm is developed using a conditional generative adversarial network. The algorithm utilizes two subnetworks, the discriminator and generator networks, to supervise network learning quality and denoising. By extracting noise features from datasets obtained from speckle simulations, the proposed method shows better performance than other denoising algorithms for processing experimental strain data from digital holography.
