Summary: This article investigates the potential of chitosan nanoparticles loaded with gallic acid (GA) for the treatment of psoriasis. The study found that coating the nanoparticles with hyaluronic acid (HA) slightly increased the particle size but enhanced their inhibitory effect on cells. In vivo experiments demonstrated the potential of HA-modified nanoparticles in restricting psoriasis. Further research should explore the application of HA-modified nanoparticles in the treatment of other skin-related conditions.

Summary: In this study, a targeted drug delivery platform HCPC/DEX NPs was formed using hyaluronic acid (HA) and beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD), with carbon dots (CDs) as a cross-linker. Dexamethasone (DEX) was loaded for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) treatment. The HA ligands enabled efficient delivery of DEX to inflammatory joints by exploiting the drug loading capacity of beta-CD and M1 macrophage targeting of HA. The NPs showed a drug loading of 4.79% and specifically targeted M1 macrophages, with 3.7 times higher uptake compared to normal macrophages.

Summary: This paper demonstrates a method to regulate the external charges of liposomes by competing for protons, resulting in nanoparticles with adjustable surface charges in response to pH stimulation. The liposomes coated with chitosan and hyaluronic acid had a narrow size range. In vitro cytotoxicity tests showed the safety of the nanocarriers and the efficient delivery of antitumor medicines.

Summary: In this study, hyaluronic acid (HA) was used to improve the delivery efficiency of naringenin (NAR) by loading it into zein nanoparticles. The optimized Nar/zein-HA nanoparticles had uniform spherical shape with desirable particle size, polydispersity index, and zeta-potential. The microstructure of the nanoparticles was maintained by hydrophobic, electrostatic, and hydrogen-bonding interactions. Furthermore, the nanoparticles showed favorable physical stability, enhanced encapsulation efficiency, improved antioxidant capacity, and release in simulated gastrointestinal digestion of Nar.
