Summary: If H and F are two Henon maps with biholomorphically equivalent escaping sets, then there exist affine automorphisms A1 and A2 in C-2 such that F = A1 o H o A2 in C-2.

Summary: This article investigates the relationship between the McMullen polynomial and the Alexander polynomial of a free-by-cyclic group. It introduces the concept of an orientable fully irreducible outer automorphism phi and uses it to characterize when the homological stretch factor of phi equals its geometric stretch factor.

Summary: In this paper, a characterization formula for biharmonic maps in Euclidean spheres is proved, and a family of biharmonic maps from a flat 2-dimensional torus T into the 3-dimensional unit Euclidean sphere S-3 is constructed as an application. Then, a more specific form for the bitension field of maps between spheres, whose components are given by homogeneous polynomials of the same degree, is found. Furthermore, this formula is applied to the case when the degree is 2, and the classification of all proper biharmonic quadratic forms from S-1 to S-n (n>=2), from S-m to S-2 (m>=2), and from S-m to S-3 (m>=2) is obtained.

Summary: A one-step synthesis method was used to prepare porous sponge-like ceria (CeO2). The solid material was characterized and found to have a three-dimensional pore system. The porous ceria exhibited higher photocatalytic activity compared to the commercial sample in both liquid and gas phase reactions. Furthermore, the porous ceria showed low deactivation after multiple runs.

Summary: Range maps are crucial for biodiversity conservation, but current maps lack important context and fail to capture the dynamics and variation of populations and environments. We propose expanding flat range maps by adding texture to address these limitations and enhance interdisciplinary research.

Summary: This article discusses the possibility of georeferencing old multi-sheet map works, using the least squares method and the IRLS robust statistical method. The methods are applied to the First Military Mapping of the Habsburg monarchy to obtain accurate georeferencing results, which are compared with results from Mapire.eu portal.

Summary: In this paper, we define the core entropy for postcritically-finite Newton maps and examine its continuity within this family. We demonstrate that the entropy function is not continuous in this family, unlike the polynomial case, and provide a complete description of the entropy function's continuity at generic parameters.

Summary: A salient feature extraction model is proposed to simulate the attention mechanism in human visual system, effectively reflecting key facial information by increasing the receptive field, acquiring multiscale features, and simulating human vision. A novel FER method for one single person is also introduced, improving recognition accuracy by obtaining more targeted and complete deep expression information.

Summary: This paper explores the generation of pseudorandom numbers using chaotic maps, constructing high-order polynomial chaotic maps based on the Li-Yorke theorem, and designing a pseudorandom number generator with increased chaotic parameters. Testing shows that the generator produces sequences with good randomness, uniformity, complexity, and sensitivity to initial parameters, demonstrating high-quality sequence generation capabilities.

Summary: This study proves a result about polynomials of degree 3, where all critical points except one periodic critical point escape to infinity, and these polynomials can be tuned by an arbitrary monic centered polynomial Q of degree 3 with a connected Julia set. This generalizes the well-known result on the existence of baby Mandelbrot sets by Douady-Hubbard. Specifically, if d = 3, it is proven that E(f(*)) is homeomorphic to the Mandelbrot set, where E(f(*)) represents the set of all cubic polynomials that are externally conjugate to f(*).

Summary: This paper provides examples of nonsingular bilinear maps in the range 24 <= r <= 32, 24 <= s <= 32, using the arithmetic of octonions as a tool. By following a systematic procedure, these constructions offer a unified perspective on techniques previously used in lower dimensional cases. These maps are of interest to topologists studying vector bundles over real projective spaces.

Summary: To address the issue of finite calculation accuracy in digital chaotic maps, we propose a universal iterative model for constructing non-degenerate polynomial chaotic maps with any desired number of positive Lyapunov exponents. Additionally, we introduce innovative geometric control methods for polynomial chaotic maps. Through a microcontroller-based platform, we demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the hardware implementation and geometric control of the proposed polynomial chaotic map. Finally, a pseudorandom number generator is constructed through interval quantization and its desirable statistical properties are verified through numerical experiments.

Summary: This paper investigates chaotic dynamics of a class of partial difference equations and establishes two chaotification schemes. The controlled equations are proved to be chaotic in either the sense of Li-Yorke or in the sense of both Li-Yorke and Devaney. An example is provided to demonstrate the theoretical results through computer simulations.

Summary: Fat embolism syndrome (FES) is a complication of long bone fractures that often occurs within 72 hours of injury. This case report highlights a rare delayed-onset isolated cerebral FES, emphasizing the importance of considering the diagnosis even if patients develop a change in consciousness beyond 72 hours after injury.
