Summary: The main objective of this study was to investigate the mediating role of anxiety and depression in the relationship between quality of life and sexual satisfaction in cardiovascular patients. It was found that only SF-36 physical health is indirectly related to sexual satisfaction through its relationship with anxiety. Therefore, perceived general health and sexuality are recommended as clinical indicators for therapeutic decisions and risk evaluation in the management of cardiovascular diseases.

Summary: Young people with CFS/ME can benefit from better educational adaptations and increased social interaction with peers. Factors that limit learning and socialization include a lack of knowledge about CFS/ME among teachers and school personnel, expectations from teachers of doing more than they could manage at school, feeling alone coping with the disease, and not recognizing their own limitations regarding what they are able to do. Suggested factors perceived to enhance learning and socialization were a better understanding of the disease among school personnel and peers, suitable educational adaptations, and being able to socialize with peers.

Summary: The study examined the differences in mental health-related quality of life (QoL) by sex-specific sexual identity subgroups among individuals with moderate-to-severe alcohol use disorder (AUD) and tobacco use disorder (TUD). The findings suggest that gay men and heterosexual, bisexual, and gay/lesbian women with AUD have lower mental health-related QoL compared to heterosexual men, and gay men and heterosexual and gay/lesbian women with TUD have lower mental health-related QoL compared to heterosexual women. These findings highlight the importance of considering mental health variability among individuals with AUD and TUD, particularly among women and sexual minorities.

Summary: The purpose of this observational study is to assess the relationship between psychological variables, pain, and Duration Untreated Endometriosis (DUE), as well as the effects of dienogest 2 mg/daily (DNG) and dienogest/ethinylestradiol 0.03 mg/daily (EE/DNG) on symptoms, quality of life (QoL), health-related quality of life (HRQoL), pain, and sexual satisfaction. The results showed that longer DUE was associated with poorer HRQoL and physical QoL. Both treatments improved QoL, HRQoL, and symptoms, and DNG seemed to have a greater effect on reducing dyspareunia over time compared to EE/DNG.
